SyncSheet data protection complaints procedure
This is how SyncSheet Limited handles complaints about how it uses personal information. It applies to anyone whose information we hold: people who enquire, book calls or request a Snapshot, clients and their staff, and anyone we contact for business outreach.
How to complain
Email [email protected], or write to SyncSheet Limited at its registered office: 167–169 Great Portland Street, Fifth Floor, London, W1W 5PF. You don't need to use any particular form of words. If you complain another way, for example on a call, we'll treat it as a complaint and confirm it in writing.
What happens next
| Step | What we do | When |
|---|---|---|
| 1. We log it | We record your complaint the day it arrives | Same day, or the next working day |
| 2. We acknowledge it | We confirm we've received it, give you a reference number, and tell you who is handling it and when to expect an update | Within 30 days, and we aim for 2 working days |
| 3. We investigate | We find out what happened: which information, which system, who had access and what went wrong | Straight away |
| 4. We keep you updated | We tell you how it's going, including if it will take longer and why | At least every 30 days until it's closed |
| 5. We tell you the outcome | We explain what we found, what we've done to put it right, and any changes we've made | Without undue delay |
If your complaint is also a request about your data, for example for a copy of it or to delete it, we'll handle that request too, within one month.
If you're not satisfied
You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): the ICO's 'Make a complaint' page, phone 0303 123 1113.
